I would really appreciate some responses! will chance back to anyone who needs it!!

(sigh) im getting kinda sad that no one’s responding. oh well… this thread is probably gonna die out soon.

Your resume is amazing. You will definitely get in to almost anywhere. You really shouldn’t worry as much as you do.

A 5.44 GPA and 4.0? Wow good job! Alot of it depends on your SAT I, tho. But with your current grades plus your research, ur definitely set for all the UC’s. I think if you actually win siemens you have a pretty good shot at Ivies too! Since ED for hopkins would tripple your chances, I’m pretty sure they’re gonna accept you.
Chance me back?

the only problem is that if they dont accept me to their BME program but to their college in general i cant pursue my undergrad studies in BME and will have to choose another major

Ah i see…but since you did young scholars and siemens I think you’re a good candidate for the BME. What is your career goal? Physician or bme?

im doing bme so i can apply to med school so yea phys.

i see! yea i wanna do med too but i never really got a chance to shadow a doctor lol…and im majoring in biochem cuz i like wetlab more than enginerring (also gradewise math is my worst subject being the only subject i got 2 B’s in) just like let them know (maybe thru ur essays) ur devoted to purusuing a career in medicine and that you are ambitious in that a background in bioengineering would make you a unique and innovatiive doctor. You seem like a worthy candidate for BA/MD programs too! My class rank and sat is too low for me to apply to most of them but im doing rice/baylor and univeristy of rochester Ba/md.

nice! im doing UM, boston univ, and RPI for those bs/md programs!

anyone else willing to chance me??
