<p>I'm a senior at a rigorous private catholic high school in northern California.
UWGPA: 3.54(Not including senior year, I should end up with straight A's or very nearly straight A's)
WGPA: 3.85
I got a 3.0 first semester freshman year, then a 3.67 second semester, and then straight A's all sophomore year, while taking honors pre-calculus and honors chemistry,

Over the summer I worked 30-40 hours a week as a Lifeguard at a public pool that caters to lower-class city kids for the large part</p>

<p>If it makes a difference, I'm applying for the Army ROTC scholarship, and I've been talking to the battalion at Vanderbilt, there is a good chance they will offer me a scholarship.</p>

<p>I've never visited Vanderbilt, but I've been in Chattanooga and Knoxville. I'm visiting in the first week of december.</p>

<p>Your SAT’s are definitely in line. I would worry a little about your junior year grades. That being said, it matters how you fit in to your class at your school. You say it’s rigorous and that will show up in your school profile. ED was the way to go, for sure. If your essays are good and your recommendations are solid, I think you have a good chance. Put in a strong first semester and send grades reports as supplements as you get them (if they’re good). good luck.</p>
