Hey guys, I’m a senior who’s fired off some of my applications already. I’ve done two chance me’s before (last year and over the summer) to little avail but a lot has changed within my application since. Just looking for advice on where else to shoot for pragmatically. My GPA isn’t particularly strong which I am aware of. Hoping my other work is good enough for admission into some of the above schools. Just anxious, as we all are.

I know that colleges look for students that fit niches. My newspaper extra curriculars are extremely impressive. They give me what I hope is a fairly attractive spike. Does that make up for a pretty low GPA? Further, what does a 33 (34 super score for UVA, Rochester, and American) mean for admission chances?
Languages Proficient In: English and Russian
Essays: Nothing but good comments from some really reputable sources on my common app essay. About my grandma and dialysis. Pretty confident in my writing ability.
