<p>Hey guys, so I am using Questbridge College Match to apply to colleges.
My number one, top school is Emory, so I will be ranking that first on my college list.
I'm going to give a little background information because it will help alot</p>

<p>I am currently taking a gap year. I graduated high school may 2014, but with difficult family situations, I had to withdraw from my original university (will be explaining all of this in the QB essay). So please consider these things when chancing me! :D</p>

<p>Recs:
I asked 2 teachers whom I have known for more than 3 years. I am sure they will write me great recs.</p>

<p>ECS/Leadership:
-Praise Team leader for my church. I have been doing it for 5 years
-Assistant Teacher at Korean school
-Head soccer coach for 3 years. Multiple medals and trophys for participating in tournaments that we placed 1st or 2nd in all tournaments (8 seasons tournaments)
-Music composer: I produced a song that was first place in a Korean American Christian Music Festival sponsored by a famous tv/radio station in Korea (Korean Christian Broadcasting Station).
-I played recreational soccer for local club league. I know this isn't much, but I am aware that colleges like to know what I do outside of school, so here is one thing i do outside of school~</p>

<p>Special Awards/Honors:
-Three National Latin Exam Awards. 2 magna cum laudes and 1 maxima cum laude
-National Etymology Exam Bronze Medal
-Georgia PTA: Reflections Music Composition 2nd Place
-I was awarded music technology student of the year award 2 years in a row (junior and senior) at my high school
-AP Scholar with honors</p>

<p>Work/Intern:
-Atlanta CBS Assistant video editor during summer of 2013. Participated in sound designing projects as well.</p>

<p>General Info:
Income: <$30000 mom only, dad is in Korea
Male, Asian
Undocumented/DACA
My whole family, except for my little brother who was born here, is undocumented
Reason for taking gap year: Financial restraints prevented me from attending my original university. I had to withdraw at the last minute. My dad had to leave for Korea because of legal issues in the states. His sudden departure made it even more difficult for me to attend school. Right now i am currently working and giving drum lessons. I still do all the same extra curricular that I took part in while I was still in high school. My essay will pretty much cover all of this, but in more detail.</p>

<p>I tried to make this as specific as I could. I really hope QB would provide me with new hope. What do you guys think?</p>

<p>I think you have a chance at Emory or Tufts but they are reaches. You should put in one total safety like a state school. The only school you don’t have a chance at is Vanderbilt because they are VERY test score oriented. If you had a 2200 or up you would have a chance there, but not right now. </p>

<p>Notre Dame (See Emory and Tufts) although I think you have a better shot at Emory or Tufts for sure </p>

<p>My prediction is you get into 1 of those top 4, probably Emory or Tufts, and maybe 2 of the bottom 4. </p>

<p>Your GPA and ECs are great, but maybe work on them standardized test scores:)
Assuming your essays turn out well, I’d say Colorado and perhaps Grinell low matches, Emory and Tufts low reaches and Vandy and Notre Dame high reaches. Good luck!</p>

<p>The thing is I have already taken three SATs and QB only allows 3 SATs to be submitted. I will definately try to get mid 700s for the subject tests Thanks!</p>

<p>You’re EC are really strong. Howeverm like Sophia stated try getting upwards of a 700 on Math II and atleast a 2200 on the SAT. I would say you have a chance at emory and tufts if you can raise your scores a little bit. Good luck!</p>
