Suggest me some universities that are good for engineering and I can get in with my scores as well. Also would applying undecided increase my chances at any of these universities? Should I apply for Industrial or Mechanical Engineering in order to have a batter shot. I know it hardly makes a difference. But still. Thank you for your time.

Ur achievements are great…thats one thing bout IB…u get to do lot of these things…in cbse its just study :expressionless: anyway u don’t have much time for another sat I guess but ur reading is low…maths is great…writing isn’t usually considered for engineering…pretty good chance at all universities I reckon

uf, university of wisconsin , virginia tech, and penn sate will be difficult to get in. i think you have a good chance for the rest of the schools. you could also try georgia tech

Raj, its the other way round. If I were in CBSE I would have ample amount of time to do stuff. Its just studying for the exam. In IB, its too much work for the course itself. Why do you think I can get a degree in 3 years by taking IB? Because its a rigorous course. :|

What I meant was that u have a good chance at foreign unis cause u get so many things to show uve done…but the only thing I get to show are my marks cause we never do anything else

You should have done some more stuff. Ample of time in CBSE.
Anyways my grades arent that great. I won’t get into good universities.

Bump 10 char.

Bump 10 char.

Bump 10 char.

bummmmmmmmpppp.

bump too latee

And here goes another bump.

Please go ahead and chance me, I will chance you all back.

Bump 10 char.

I don’t understand your gpa thing.

FYI… I think mech engineering at TAMU is already full. If you are accepted they put you in “general” engineering and then when you register you have to pick another engineering major. They say you may can move over later if there is room…

They are IB grade points. 34 on 42 Grade Points.

They are my IB grade points.

I really think you should retake the SAT. Try taking the ACT, too - it might be easier for you to get a higher score on it, since it’s in a different format. As for the rest, there are very many Indian students with grades and ECs better than yours… so good luck

Thank you for chancing me. I wish I could retake the SAT, but I really have no time at all :(
