Futureandover-Are You talking to me?

I second what loudandclear said. You don’t know if your essays were “GOOD” or if your recommendations were “GOOD.” As for FA, this year it seems that FA applicants at Exeter will have an easier time than before. I don’t think it will “screw you over.” Only 41% of those applying applied for FA. Last year, they only gave out FA to 27% of applicants, so I’d guess they’ll be pretty generous with it this year to make up for last year.

Also, don’t worry if you don’t have any awards. It’s kind of annoys me when all people spend their time doing is vying for awards. I know two people who play the violin. One practices 30 min a night, the other practices an hour a night. One has many awards, but has not real passion/interest. The other has no awards, but is a better violinist, and spends his time practicing, not worrying about how to get awards.

Well, my teachers let me see the Recs. Thanks a lot though! I do have one award in Basketball, and am passionate.

Wow your app looks good! Your so lucky you’ve been doing all your EC’s for a while. I’m not going to say if I think you’ll get in or not, but I wish you the best of luck!

Mine? (10Charr)

So Exeterr, you seem really worried about getting into your 1st choice school. What if you don`t get in, are you going to post your rejection?

I don’t know…

You don’t need to mention your nationality or religion every time you make a post. I’m not anti-Semitic, or anything near that, but it’s not a hook.

As for the application, best of luck.

ameripen is right. Too much ID info can be dangerous.

Exeterrr, to chance you, youll need to post SSAT scores, as they do make a big part of you application. The fact that you can write and read in Hebrew is cool, im not sure though if it helps you on your application, maybe it does, maybe it doesnt I have no clue

exeterr (i hope) at least has a good idea that “chancing” does nothing to help his app, and that people on CC have no positive way of chancing to any degree of certainty, and no credidentials to chance. Knowing this, he asked CC to chance, which is what I did.
Loudandclear, this is my first year applying for boarding schools. I am not a reject.
Also, it was my belief that full financial aid (emphasis on FULL) hurts chances in getting into boarding schools. I am sorry if I am misinformed, I assumed that people would understand that people on CC including me often have no credentials to chance. if exeterr had wanted only those with credentials to chance, he would have said.
