Chance me for Georgetown?

I'm an Asian male born in Eastern Europe, and a first generation immigrant. I live with my mother and a younger brother, and my family's total income is below 40K. I attend a private school (on a scholarship) that sends about 1 kid each year to an elite university, like Harvard, Stanford, or Princeton. I can also speak 4 languages if that helps a bit.

-2300 SAT Score (1550/1600)
-4.0 GPA (UW)/ 4.56 (W)
-All AP Classes/Hardest possible schedule
-School doesn't rank or even tell us our percentages, but I assume that I am in the top 5% of class out of ~105 students.

Awards:
-AP Scholar with distinction
-Hopeful Questbridge Finalist?
-National Merit Scholar
-Intel ISEF Semifinalist
-Spanish National Exam Honorable Mention
-Awards at Model UN conferences run by universities
-AIME 2x
-National History Day State 3rd place

EC:
I am very passionate about helping others overall, and fighting breast cancer for diagnosed patients is one of my major points in helping others. I want to get a Biology major so that I can pursue my passion of fighting breast cancer in the future. My hobby is soccer.

My activities of helping others in general:

-Founder of a non profit organization (501(c)(3)) that fights the poverty issue in my state (Fairly successful); I will write about how my personal poverty issue motivated me
to start a non profit to fight poverty
-Founder and leader of an organization with a goal to fight the education issue that goes around failing schools in my state and uses teaching materials from a website to educate the kids better (it is in supplement to what the teacher teaches).
-Volunteer at a non profit that improves global health
-Created an app in the App Store that raises awareness about many global issues
-Tutoring little kids at a church
-Amnesty International President
-Reading to toddlers at a library
-Kumon tutor (because family income is low)
-Key Club President (Community service club)

My activities for breast cancer more specifically:

-Did a science project on breast cancer (got Intel with it)
-Author in a publication
-Internship at breast cancer research lab 3 summers
-Founder and president of Breast Cancer club
-Summer camp on medicine
-Annual Breast Cancer Race volunteer
-Breast Cancer Non profit organization volunteer

I am also captain of the Quiz Bowl team, VP of Model UN, and played soccer 4 years club; 3 years for school. I attended a soccer camp one summer as well.

Would greatly appreciate any chances!

Yes, you have a very good chance of getting in.

Thanks! Anyone else?

you’re in lol

Yay thanks that makes me feel great!

You have a high chance but saying you’re good as on is a bit…

What? I don’t quite understand what you said.

I’d say you have a 95% chance of getting into Georgetown. You can even try getting into more selective universities (Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, UChicago).
But Georgetown is amazing. It’s my dreamschool. Sadly, my grades aren’t as good as yours.
How big is your family? 40,000$ for a family of 4 is enough to live a comfortable life. Georgetown receives a lot of poorer people than you, so I’d advice you not to focus on your own poverty, but rather on other reasons why you decided to do your charity
It seems like you’ve done quite a bit, and that’s Georgetown’s favorite EC since it is a Jesuit school. GT also focus a lot on numbers and academic performance, and yours is close to (if not) perfect, I’d say you’re ‘‘as good as in’’.

I will most definitely not make my own financial issue the focus point of my life. I do realize that there are many students who suffer more than me, but I too have experienced some hardships. That 40K drops to 30K because of rent. Basically all of our savings were absolutely eliminated because of our application for Green Card. My sibling is just a mere 4 year old, so there are many many expenses for him. I do not live with my father, he very lives far away. Again, I do realize that there are many students in positions worse than mine, but at the same time I too have faced some challenges. Thanks for the chance!

You have great chances. I’d say High Match, but that is only due to a low (about 13%) acceptance rate. There is nothing in your application that would rule you out, and in fact, everything in it makes you deserving of acceptance. Again, the 13% acceptance rate could lead to some surprises, but if I was in your position, I would be happy with my chances.

So did you get in?

^Currently a senior.
