  3. Pursuing my passion: Stand up comedy for a year now.
    4.Filed tax returns for a financial consulting firm for a period of two months ( I was intrigued by the new tax reforms in my country which has been cited as the most important change after independence in 1947)
  4. I have worked under a electrical engineer and assisted him with machine maintenance work.
  5. I have even worked at a diagnostic firm and got the chance to analyze the current market scenario for various biomedical devices. I even got the opportunity to know how difficult it is to import medical devices from other countries and how one can start developing same medical devices at a lower cost in my country.
  6. Done a specialisation course in Construction Management.
  7. Leadership : Hosted Teacher’s Day Programme and even lead dance groups in high school
    9.Taught 10th standard kids who were in a need of a teacher for a period of one year. I even tried making physics interesting for them using models

My georgia tech supplemental essay is very unique, I suppose. It’s about I tried starting a startup which tried solving a problem which every single person faces but could not start it due to lack of funds and technical knowledge.

@khushgarg Did you look up how many international students are accepted each year at GaTech?
That may help you gauge your chances. You have great job experiences and a strong composite ACT score.
I think your TOEFL is high enough but check. What is your math ACT score? Thats very important to getting accepted. Math score needs to be 33-36 for best chances, for an international student from India.

Have other schools and safties. GT is also going to want the kid that could figure out how to solve the problem not just have an idea regardless of knowledge. Come up with a hypothesis at least. No one checking to see if your correct. Also the GT blog is one of the best out there for admissions. Read through it. He has alot if humor but pretty honest assessment for admission chances.
