I attend a very small(450) Catholic High school, very limited options for AP, honors, etc though we have had several people accepted to prestigious schools(Yale, Harvard, brown, trinity, unc chapel hill, etc)
9th grade( I attended a large public school then transferred) Honors Enviromental Science, Honors English, Algebra I, Global Studies, Foundations of Art
10th grade- Honors English, Biology, Spanish I, Ancient Greece, Geometry, Religion, Health studies,

Work as a camp counselor at a nonprofit for children with various special needs(40+ hours a week)
Volunteered a summer my ninth grade year at a local organization for those with special needs in the community (20 hours a week)
Two time bronze medalist in the national Spanish exam
Reciepent of a community service book award
My essay is about achieving my dream of owning a vw Beetle and never giving up and connecting it to college and how I won’t give up in pursuit of becoming a nurse (I wanted it to be orginial and not a sob story lmk what you think)
My letters of rec should be very good
I would be applying EDI as a health science major
I know it’s a long shot but I want to know your honest opinion and why.
Forgot to mention I’m a Connecticut resident, who has visited once has an interview coming up and plan on visiting again.
