Chance me for Harvard/ Princeton

<p>Now that I grabbed your attention, please chance me only for Williams, Amherst, Bowdoin, Middlebury, Oberlin and Skidmore.</p>

<p>I immigrated to the US (from Israel) at 13 years old, so I'm only here/ speaking English for five years.</p>

<p>My parents used to be upper-middle class engineers before they decided to join an intentional community and volunteer to help adumts with special needs. That's what they do for a job now.</p>

<p>I played cello since fourth grade and I am in the All State Orchestra, as well as the honors all state ensemble. I teach and first-chair a few local ensembles. I'm attaching an artistic supplement. I also compose in my free time.</p>

<p>During my sophomore year, I took a semester off and skied the lenghth of Vermont, built a canoe and canoed back on the Connecticut river - 600 miles by ski and canoe. I have a letter of recommendation from a teacher who did this with me.</p>

<p>I have 200+ hours of community service hours.</p>

<p>I founded a backcountry ski club at my highschool</p>

<p>I also worked many hours for a bakery that also employs adults with special needs.</p>

<p>You have a chance of getting in. However, like most people applying to those schools, it is a reach.</p>

<p>Do apply for some safeties such as Northeastern, Boston College, U of Maryland, etc.</p>

<p>I do have a safety, but since I am not worried about my chances of admission to it, I am not asking about it. Please notice that I am NOT actually applying to Harvard or Princeton - it’s just an effective way of getting people to look in the thread.</p>
