SAT: 1500, 730 Verbal 770 Math (on 2nd attempt, first attempt 1400) essay 22
SAT2s: Math Level 2, Literature in October
GPA: 9.8/10 (school grades out of a 10 point system) in junior year and senior year, 10 in freshman and sophomore year (junior year and senior year are traditionally known to be extremely tough in India, hence the drop in GPA. Will make my GPA a 10 by the time I submit applications)
Demographic: US citizen living in India
Interested Major: Politics/Economics/Math
Extracurriculars/Honours:
-MUN: Founded MUN team, Secretary General of School Conference, won Best Delegate awards at some of the most prestigious MUNs in the country, including on the university circuit as a junior in high school.
-Quiz: Regional Finalist and Winner at various national-level quizzes
-Track: 6 time medallist over 3 years, mostly restricted to school meets due to limited exposure
-Soccer: Captain of House team for 3 years, had to sit out a year and a half due to an injury to the head, on Varsity Team
-Research: Main author on one research paper in Political Science, Co-Author on a research paper in International Relations
-Moot Court (similar to mock trial): Co-founded 1st ever high school moot society in the state, held a moot court for younger kids in school
-One of 100 kids across the country selected for a prestigious math camp in Mumbai in the 10th grade for 1 month
-One of 60 kids shortlisted for a fellowship with Instagram for 3 months, interview to select the top 30 on sept 23rd
-Involved in community service at the local lakes, in a lake preservation drive, 3 years.
-Times of India TIMES SPARK Scholar: Read and analysed articles in the Times of India, and was one of 100 students out of 230,000 given the award.
-Spelling Bee: Classmate Spelling Bee, came 3rd out of 275,000 students in freshman year
Hummingbird Spell Bee, came 1st nationally in the first round in both junior year and senior year
