I highly doubt it; each of these schools received ~40K applications per year. Many say they are unique; few are.
Regardless, if the OP would like this thread to remain open, I would suggest not challenging even user who chances you. Per the forum rules, this is not a debate society. You asked for opinions, and that’s all anybody here can give. Nobody is an AO, and the AO would see a some complete picture than what is being provided here.
I am not sure what more you can fruitfully get in terms of feedback. None of us on this site are going to be making the admissions decisions on you and none of us have access to your LoR’s, essays and what will be presented in your app on EC’s. As @SatchelSF posted upthread, which I agree with, applicants with your stat’s probably have a 25%-50% admissions rate. However, that means 75%-50% get denied. Unless you are a recruited athlete, son of some major donor or major world or national figure, or unless you have won a nationally recognized award(s), that 25-50% rate is the most anyone can possibly venture, and that is only a guess as to the admissions rate of applicants with perfect to near perfect stats. Individually, your actual probabilities may be higher or lower depending on the elements listed above. If you go through the decision threads for HYP, you will see that they are littered with kids rejected with stat’s similar to yours (and who believed they had great LoR’s, essays and EC’s). What is my advice for you is that your stat’s allow you to shoot for the top schools, but make sure you have plan B ready. I would apply to one of these three schools SCEA and other tippy tops RD if you are not satisfied with the SCEA results (rejected, deferred or even accepted but you want to try your luck elsewhere as well). I would also apply to some state flagship honors program with rolling admissions and have some less reachy schools apps ready to go as back-up if the SCEA results don’t go your way (deferred or rejected).
You are not unique: there are 1000s just as accomplished and many that are more talented or more interesting. This is not to say you are not well qualified and an attractive applicant but quite frankly when there are 40,000 applicants all of whom offer something special your chances are slim.
You are academically qualified, but that it not enough. The colleges you mentioned have acceptance rates hovering around 5%. It is impossible to chance for these schools. A lot will depend on things you haven’t stated on this post (details of ECs) and things we will never see (ex. quality of LORs, essays).
You should expand your horizons and recognize that there are many wonderful schools out there where you can have a great 4 year experience and get where you want to go in life. These schools are long-shots for any unhooked applicant.
I understand your hesitation to reveal the specifics of your ECs, but how can you expect a realistic chanceme with “president of all of my clubs”? There are tons of kids who are presidents of clubs who apply to the schools you’re looking at, you aren’t unique in that sense. In fact, some colleges will take into consideration that these elections are many times “popularity contests” rather than an actual evaluation of skill. You saying that you are “well liked at your school” alone won’t get you into Harvard. Your confidence in your application is good and well deserved, but you cannot keep assuming you are the only person in the entire state that is doing what you are doing. Many students have the same mindset as you do right now, and are later taken aback when they recieve rejection letters. I would be optimistic about your chances, but look into flagship state schools that you could get full merit rides to, or even the ED schools that aren’t HYPS. Instead of attacking and arguing with the posters who are taking time out of their day to try to help you, heed their advice; they have seen and observed many different applications and students and their decisions than you have. Without being specific and making broad statements like “all my ECs are economics based” and “one of my clubs won nationals”, we cannot accurately chance you. I wish you the best of luck though, you do have a very good application.
