<p>I recently applied for my dream school, High Point University. I'm angry at myself because my freshman year of high school has ruined me completely. My gpa is 2.7 unweighted and 2.85 weighted. My composite score for my ACT is 16 ( very very bad ) and my sat is 1190 including all three parts, (cr, math, and writing.). But I am very involved in extra curricular activites and volunteering. I have 200 volunteer hours. I am also president for my T.V Production club in school. I've made some very important videos for my county, and receive a lot of recognition on them. I've volunteered at habitat for humanity, rocking rib Fest 2011,2012, and 2013, I've volunteered at hospitals, rehab centers, and for t.v production. My course load for my senior year is going to be very difficult to make up for my freshman year, and I plan on taking the SAT's and the ACT's again in October.</p>

<p>As of right now, I think it would be a little hard for you to get in. Try to raise your ACT to at least a 20 and study really really hard. I think you can make it if you do that. Good luck!</p>

<p>I don’t really see you getting in unless you retake the SAT/ACT and get upwards of 1600/19. Even then it is a reach</p>
