Chance me for honors or if you have some knowledge of the other UC's, those too.

However, are you filthy rich? Cost of a UC from out of state is $50,000/year and only going up. Personally, NO public school is worth over $200,000. You decide though.

Well I am sure with those stats, you would definitely get or at least qualify for regents scholarship , plus apply for some other scholarships which I am sure you will get some of.

i have a friend from OH, who had superb stats and she’s getting 30K worth of scholarship, which means, she is paying less than most in-state students.

Haha no I’m not filthy rich, it has a lot to do with my heritage. In my family, like your grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, exd. help pay for your college so money isn’t much of a worry for me. Plus out of state tuition is only 30 grand ;]

I don’t know a lot about the CCS program, but I’m under the impression that many CCS students usually have pretty impressive extracurricular achievements. I’d think that you would have a pretty good shot - I think you’ll very likely get into UCSB (considering your out-of-state status), and I don’t think that CCS considers residency that much in their admissions (but I honestly don’t know). Just looking at the figures you gave, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you got in.

I also agree with countrygentleman - I really think you should consider the cost of going to UCSB some more. It’s clear that you could probably a great university, regardless of state.

CCS (or at the very least my major) doesn’t care so much whether you’re “well rounded.” They’re much more interested in your ability and drive in your specific major.
