Chances please for:
Amherst ED
Northeastern EA
Vassar
Swarthmore
Princeton
Yale
Brown
Cornell
JHU
Northwestern
Brandeis
Rutgers

Thanks! I think I’ve honestly shown more interest in Swarthmore than Amherst, even though I really do like Amherst more. But back when I sent in my National Merit Commended PSAT scores, I sent them to Swarthmore because I hadn’t really looked into Amherst yet.
Swarthmore has also given me an award for science research that I did during Junior year.

Would applying ED Amherst show enough interest? I’ve visited the school (info session and campus tour). My application has been in for a week or 2 already.
My Amherst supp is pretty unique, I think. It shows that, while I’m interested in bio, I’m not premed like most other kids are (instead, I’m interested in improving our country’s agriculture/food industry).

Ohh, and Swarthmore and Amherst are both reaches, for anyone, as well as Northwestern. And so are Cornell and JHU. I was wrong haha, didn’t read the above posts well, they’re WAY off. Vassar’s not a low target for anyone, either.

Amherst ED - High match
Northeastern EA - in
Vassar - match
Swarthmore - high match
Princeton - high Reach
Yale - high Reach
Brown - reach
Cornell - reach
JHU - match
Northwestern - low reach
Brandeis - in
Rutgers - in

Strong overall, but a lack of hooks makes ivy league/top schools tough.

Amherst ED - high match
Northeastern EA - match
Vassar - match
Swarthmore - In
Princeton - Reach
Yale - Reach
Brown - Low reach
Cornell - Low Reach
JHU - match
Northwestern - low reach
Brandeis - in
Rutgers - easy peezy

I think you have a great shot at them all. The only ones that will be close are princeton brown and yale but I think your into Amherst Ed. Good luck.
Chance me back please thanks.

Seems kinda random to not have Dartmouth on the list as another reach. Its exactly in the same vein as Amherst and Princeton. Also if you like Amherst, I’m surprised to not see another similar top LAC.

I’m not a fan of Williams, if that’s what you mean. I do have Swarthmore on there, which is a top LAC…it’s pretty high up on my list but it’s not my favorite because I feel like the social life there is lacking.

I never really looked at Dartmouth…but their lack of a supplemental essay makes submitting an application much more enticing.

Amherst ED- high match (I’d say you would probably get in)
Northeastern EA- low match
Vassar- low match
Swarthmore- mid reach (for everyone)
Princeton- “”
Yale- “”
Brown- “”
Cornell- high match/low reach
JHU- low reach
Northwestern- low reach
Brandeis- match
Rutgers- in
