Extracurriculars:
-Speech and debate 4 years (3 now but will continue next year, will be president next year). State qualified in five events over two years, qualified for nationals twice, (have not gone to State or Nats this year yet so I do not have results), multitude of local tournament wins in multiple events, made finals at multiple state/national tournaments. I spend almost all my weekends every year doing speech and debate and this gets most of my time.
-Voelcker Biomedical Research Academy (summers freshman-junior years) with the UT Health Science Center
-HIV research 2 yrs (summer freshman and sophomore year)
-Aging/metabolic research 1 yr (junior year)
-Yale Young Global Scholar 2016 in Biomedical and Biological Sciences
