I think you have a very good chance at all of those schools. The only thing you could do to make those chances better would be to work on raising your math ACT score and making sure your essays are unique and inspiring. Best of luck! Also, have you looked into Questbridge? It’s the best thing since sliced bread for poor kids like us

Lol you got scammed by National Society of High School Scholars. That doesn’t sound to me like the mark of someone bound for the Ivies lol. Just kidding. But seriously you got scammed.

dont see why you wouldn’t get in

I think you have a decent shot at all of these schools. However your ACT score is on the low end for the tippy top (Stanford, Ivies). If you get your ACT to 34 or higher, then it will considerably increase your shot.

Being a valedictorian is great, but Adcoms are somewhat suspicious when they see a 4.0 valedictorian who can only muster a ACT score of only 31. This is at about the 25th percentile for Stanford.

Its good to see that you are interested in applying to a broad range of schools, and not just the ivies. Need to add some more safeties to your list.

I wouldn’t put NSHSS on your common application. If I were an admissions counselor I’d hold that against you.

I recognize that reddit username.

Why the heck did you waste our time if you’ve already been through the process? Why didn’t you post on the results forum?

I’ve never been here before but just wanted to see if the things I was hearing were consistent. I am working on like a full guide for the process so getting as many objective responses as I can is a great help. You aren’t wasting your time at all! I appreciate all of the responses.

@StringJohnson They are wasting their time. This forum isn’t about helping people make guides. It’s about giving them advice. You do not need advice. Therefore, do not post here.
