Every single one of these is going to be a reach or at the very least a HIGH target. You’re looking at some of the most selective colleges in the country. I would recommend looking at more “match” schools- you can apply to these schools, but don’t put all your eggs in these baskets.
@tryingforharvard no one, except the adcoms will know, and even they wouldn’t be consistent if asked repeatedly… If you want to drive yourself nuts, you can datamine CC’s yearly results threads for trends and min/max test/GPA ranges. All that work and you’ll still be missing most of the puzzle pieces. Work hard, be interesting by doing interstate things. And make that safety / match list. Good luck!
For quality private universities that aren’t quite as selective in admissions, but pack plenty of academic quality, check out these:
U of Rochester
NYU
Brandeis
Tulane
Wake Forest
Boston U
Lehigh
Northeastern
Case Western
SMU
Villanova
If you feel you might fit at a few of them, run the NPC to figure out if you could afford them.
I suggest also choosing a safety or two. Typical safeties are your flagship or a lesser public school and less selective privates. Good OOS public flagships can rarely be called safeties.
