Chance me for ivies please!

Hey all, I'm an international student- South Asian Indian, who lives in Hong Kong- just got my SAT 1 score yesterday-

SAT I- 2310
Critical Reading-780
Writing-760
Maths-770

GCSEs- 7A*s 2As

I'm taking IB and AS levels (just doing AS to make sure that I get out of high school)
IB Subjects-
Economics HL (also AS)
Mathematics HL (done my AS levels for this- did them last year- got an A (highest grade))
History HL (AS)
English SL
French SL
Physics SL(AS)
I haven't done my SAT IIs yet- what should I be aiming for? I was thinking I'd take, english literature, maths and maybe physics if I'm going in for Harvard.

Extra-Curriculars-
2 time winner Sing Tao Debating Competition (National Level)
1 time winner HK BAR Association Debating Competition (National level)
Semi-finals HK BAR Association Debating Competition (at the moment- we may go further)
No.1 Hong Kong Debating Team (I take this from the fact that I won the trials- it also means I'll get some sort of international ranking- IF I'm good enough)
{I was also invited to the trials for a few years- from when I was 13, but I don't want to include this- it took me THAT long to break into the team???}
Debating Team Captain - two years, this year and last
Debating Team Member- 4 years
Hong Kong Model United Nations - School Representative (National Level)
2005-2006 Student Council Elected Year Representative
2006-2007- Student Council Elected Year Representative
2008-2009- Student Council Elected Year Representative
2008-2009 Captain for my House in my school
GYLC Leadership Conference- this summer I'll be going to New York to represent my school in this leadership thing held by the American Congress
Habitat for Humanity- Spent a week in Guangdong, China building houses
History Tutoring- I take a class of around 15 students every week to teach them history for their GCSE History Exam.
I got accepted into the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, for leadership- BUT it SOUNDS way better than it actually is- we haven't really had that many meetings yet.
School Squash Team 2006-2007 (got bored and dropped it)

I'll be running a half-marathon sometime in June
Signing up for a 15k road/hill race in March
This is a maybe- I maybe organizing a rock show for charity in my school, but I really wouldn't count on this.

I have one more year of school left- so I guess I'm kinda early with this stuff- this means I'll probably have one more thing to add to extra curriculars- Head Boy, or Prefect.

Thanks all-

much appreciated!

WHOOPS!- forgot to say something-

I don't know how my high school is ranked, but apparently we have a good rapport with U Penn- though I DON'T know how strong this is.

Also- I don't have any legacies, or anything- I'll be applying probably under early action to Columbia Next Year- but I don't know it all depends
=)

Guys- I need some sort of a reply =)

BUMP

SAT and EC's look really good, but I'm not familiar with foreign school systems. Judging from what I know, you have good chances at all of the Ivies, although they are notoriously unpredictable.

thanks a lot! I guess what I'm looking for is a right direction thing- am I headed in the right direction?

Your reply kinda highlights what I'm worried about- how do admissions officers know what's a good or bad international extra curricular activity?

Well I'm obviously not an admissions officer, they will know the rigor of your curriculum, so don't worry about that.

BUMP

please?

You definitely got chance in the Ivies, even Harvard, too. I think what matters now are the Recommendations and how you represent yourself in your app essays..

maybe this will be more helpful-

I'll try and get a recommendation by my history teacher- I take that class for her and I'm pretty much the only kid in the year who challenges her and shows a huge interest in doing extra research for just her class (I LOVE history!)

For my second rec- can it be from my principal- he doesn't teach me, but he's my form tutor, meaning he's the guy I go to for school help and stuff. Or I could get my debate coach, who I'm pretty sure will give me a good rec because I've sweated blood for the guy and won ****loads for him.

By the way, do my recs have to come for subjects I want to do in uni- I want to do Economics, but I may go in undeclared.

For my essay could we assume it will be average? I'm not sure how this really works, but from what I know now it's based on representing yourself- so I'll probably write on on running- how no matter what goes on in my life it's the one constant I have and is like a narcotic to me.

Also, for my Extra Curriculars-

I do Art lessons in my spare time, I can draw human faces, inanimate objects and animals pretty well- how and should I include this?
