GPA: 3.89 last time I checked, will probably go to 3.9+ in Senior year.
APs:
Freshman: ES, HG, Psych, CS A, Calc BC
Sophomore: USH, Stats, Chinese
All 5s</p>

<p>Junior(current): Chem, Bio, Spanish
Senior: Micro, English Lang, Physics C</p>

<p>College Calc 3, Linear Alg, Real Analysis courses</p>

<p>SAT II: Not taken yet but probably 750+ in math II and chemistry</p>

<p>Rank: top 5% I think</p>

<p>ECs:
NHS (officer), Dwarf Fortress Club (Founder this year), MUN (officer), Math Club
Band (2 years), 1 year in an adult band
Class VP 3 years
150+ hours volunteer at library, worked @ fast food last summer
few hours/week tutoring
will consider programming an app/game during the summer</p>

Columbia, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, U Penn, Yale, Harvard (lol)
Others:
UCLA, UCB, Stanford
More Safeties/Matches would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Anyone else have any input, specifically for JH, Duke, and UCLA?? what safeties should I have? Where are my weakest points??</p>

Jhu: high match
Ucla: Low match
The problem with listing safeties is that safeties aren’t like the big universities in their universal quality. That is to say, while there are schools like American or Wisconsin-Madison that would be safeties for you, unless your major was international relations or chemistry respectively the quality of the education you would find would be far less than at a different safety school.</p>

<p>Thank you! Unfortunately, my top pick is actually Dukeand I know barely anything about International Relations majors at colleges per se, so i don’t have the knowledge to chance you but I think you’re fine fro most of your schools.</p>
