Recommendations

I asked my Calc teacher and my stat teacher to give me recommendations, I am generally enthusiastic in their classes, probably will get some good rec letters.

Other
State: texas, in austin
School: Westwood high school, is a large competitive high school
Ethnicity: asian (indian)
Gender: male
Income bracket: $150k+
Hooks: probably none other than the fact that I am doing an college level internship in sales whereas most companies don’t kids come in, only kids I know get internships are for medical fields, I don’t personally know anyone with internships in like tech or business fields.

Thanks for any comments you leave.

To give you a frame of reference, DS applied last year with lower test scores than you but, much stronger ECs and a higher class rank. He was not selected for BHP. After doing some research on it, we’re pretty sure it was his rank that was the issue. He had a top 2% friend with equivalent scores and low EC activities who did get a BHP offer.

The good news is that DS found out he was accepted into McCombs in December as opposed to February. (He was not an auto admit.)

Obviously apply but, it’s definitely not an easy call to guess your chances. Good luck!
