SAT II Subject tests: 800 US History, 750 Math I

Taken 4 APs: Physics I (5), European History (5), AP Lang (5), US History (5).
Am taking 6 this year: Macro/Micro, Chemistry, Calculus AB, AP Lit, French

GPA weighted: 5.0/4.0

Ranking: N/A

Not that this counts for anything at all but my dad went to McGill. I know they don’t count legacy, just putting that out there.

also I have a question, how is McGill viewed in the US, is it well known there or the average American haven’t even heard about it ?

It is definitely much more well known in the Northeast (where I’m from) than places like the midwest and out west. For those who do know it, it has a very good reputation. It’s known to accept more students than your average top American school but also regarded as just as, if not more, rigorous.

@yw123 Most Americans only know local colleges, their state flagship and the Sports Illustrated top 25 colleges. Among those who count (employers, grad school adcoms) McGill is very well known and respected.

McGill only looks at unweighted GPA. I would say that you will most likely be accepted.

Is it on par with top US state schools, i.e Georgia Tech, Purdue, UIUC, UMich?

woah those are rly high stats! well above the cut-off so i feel like it would be a really good chance
