I'm a high school senior that will be applying to be MIT later this year regardless of my chances, might as well right? But I would like some idea of my chances.
Currently I am taking 5 AP courses (AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP English, and an Engineering course at a local University that is well respected in the engineering field) and two Honors courses. I have received mostly A's in all these courses with the rest being B's. Last year I took 2 AP courses and took the test for both (4 on Calc AB and 3 on U.S. History). I have never taken a college-levle

My SAT scores are 1810 all together, although I will be taking them again soon, and my subject scores are 660 in Math 2 and 590 in Physics.

My GPA is a bit strange because our school uses a different scale but it's a 3.4 on a 4.7 scale but I'm not sure if that will be changing because of different weighting.
My high school is quite large (4000+ students) and I am between the top 10-20% although that information is not readily available to me.

Extracurricular activities: Member of Tech club for 3 years, member of Science club and science league, member of Real World Design Challenge Team for our high school (consistently placing well in the state) and I have previously been a member of our Language club and a member of our rowing team.
Also I am a part of a 4 year exam school within our high school that is comprised of the best students of the high school and consistently achieves the highest ranks and scores on exams.

After taking a tour at MIT, anticipating my interview, and talking with students there I know that academically I'm not in too good of shape to get in but I know that I am incredibly passionate about Computer Engineering (doing my own research in my free time) and I am an extremely outgoing person who isn't afraid to speak in front of a class and present ideas (I'm even really excited for my interview whereas a lot of other people are terrified!).

So chance me, do I even have a sliver of hope to get into MIT?
