Chance me back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1611821-chance-me-for-u-mich.html

I just found out about UT-Austin. I was rejected. :(

Any ideas why I was rejected? I know my numbers are not outstanding but I feel as if the rest of my app is pretty strong.

For those wondering so far I have been accepted to the University of Minnesota with a $6,250 scholarship and have been rejected to the UT- Austin. I am awaiting the rest of my decisions and should hear back in the upcoming weeks. I will post decisions as they happen for those who care to look.

I have been accepted to UC Irvine

Wait listed at UCSD. Kinda surprised and now really nervous about UCLA and Berkeley. I heard UCLA and Berkeley however are more holistic so this gives me hope.

Damn another denial this time to UCSB. Very surprising. Any ideas why I was rejected?

Denied at Northwestern. No surprise there.

Denied at UCLA

Rejected at Berkeley

Okay so here is what happened:
UC Berkeley: Denied
UCLA: Denied
UC San Diego: Waitlisted-Denied
UC Santa Barbara: Denied
UC Irvine: Accepted
Stanford: Denied
UT Austin: Denied
Minnesota-Twin Cities: Accepted w/ scholarship
Colorado School of Mines: Accepted w/scholarship
Northwestern: Denied

So, I ended up choosing to the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. Great ChemE program, located in a big city, cheaper than UCI (next best option for me) and good social scene. Everything I wanted from a school.
