Recommendation Letters:
One from Chemistry Teacher, and an English teacher
They're good as well. The first one should be stellar.

Essays:
Good. (Though I had a repeated sentence in one of the widely used essays....:[[)

Interview - with CMU only

Like I said, chance me for CMU, NU and Rice PLEASE!!

Thank you in advance!

I would say that you are on target for both CMU and Rice.

Your GPA and SAT score are within range at NU, but your SAT score is on their lower side (of the midpont SAT score for enrolled freshman). Your EC’s are extensive but with HS honor clubs and band as a focus, I am not sure how much you will stand out. I would say that you are a low reach for Northwestern. Good Luck!

Hmmm, that’s a really long list of ECs.
Let me fist talk about CMU. SAT scores are bang on(something like 65 percentle). Grades are also perfect. ECs are also great(in fact they give me inferiority complex…). I will be really surprised if you do not get into CMU, as stats wise you are the perfect kind. But then again, many that get rejected are the same.
Northwestern is a little harder. However, you have a very good shot. I don’t know if you have a hook. It would have made things easier.
The internship is a really nice touch!
If your essays are as good as you make em out to be, i think you have a decent chance for all three.
good luck. You’ll need it.
Chnace me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1104656-what-my-chances-admission-these-universities.html

I would say you’re a match for CMU and Rice, and a high match and maybe a low reach for Northwestern. Good luck :)

Wow, that makes me feel a lot better!
Ive always thought they were all low reach schools!

So…hopefully i will get into at least on of them??

^Not to throw cold water, because you do have solid credentials, but being assessed as on target or a match generally just means that the responder believes your chances are at least slightly better than a coin flip (>55%). Clearly you still have a little sweating to do  Good luck!

So so so nervous. I think im dehydrating from all the sweating  hahaha

I say you get into none because you say your class rank is 32th as opposed to 32nd…

Please excuse my mistake haha.
But really, what do you say?

Honestly, you look like a pretty good candidate for all of these schools. Obviously your ECs are strong. Class Rank could be higher, but I don’t think it will hurt you that much if at all. It seems like you are strong in math based off you your SAT/SATII/Course load so that will be good for your major. I’d say you have a pretty good shot at getting into all 3 of these…

Yay!!! Thanks!! I hope it goes well!

Anyone else though?

Definitely on track for CMU and rice. I think Northwestern is definitely feasible as well, a low reach, if that. Its really good that you have so many EC’s and lots of leadership positions.

I’ve been getting comments earlier that my EC’s are just a laundry list :[[
I certainly hope that is not the case!
In my opinion, they are centered around religion and music.

I hope colleges can see that!

:((((((
Rejected by Rice…
Ah now i feellike i wont get in anywhereee

Just do well wherever you end up then transfer back to Rice.
It is very favorable if you 1) end well in HS and 2) did well in college work (maturity) and 3) a true/strong desire to attend the school.
Good luck.

Im guessing the Final Report matters?

I wouldnt be worrying about transfering if i got into CMU or NU.

I reallllly hope i get in with nice package…

The school will want the final report card, which includes grades for the entire year.
CMU and MU are great schools.

yes.
Ah i am so nervous. I really hope I get into CMU or NU…:[
