i think you should look at schools in the third tier of educational rankings.afterall, your scores are not too bad.i wish u d best.try carlifornia state unis

fredkay, what do you mean? He’s applying to NYU ,PSU, Northeastern, BU. And it looks like he wants to stay in the northeast.

SK1422, I’m liking you for BU, Drexel and UMass. PSU definitely, but maybe not the main campus- wait and see. Rutgers out of state -I don’t know. NYU is a reach.

So, good list. Did you consider Fordham, Delaware, Maryland, or DC schools at all? Or Syracuse?

Thanks for the replies

NYU is my top choice, but I know it’s a reach and pretty unlikely. But someone did get accepted from my school there last year with a 3.42 GPA and an 1800 SATI, so it’s not totally impossible. But then again someone with a 3.44 GPA and an 1880 SATI (according to admission stats from my school) got into HARVARD.

BU, PSU, Northeastern/ UCONN are the rest of the top 5, in that order.

I 100% want to stay in the Northeast. I’m not sure exactly which schools are considered third tier, but I think the majority of the schools I’m applying to are in the second tier (NYU might be first?)

For PSU, I applied to the University Park campus, but also made myself eligible for their summer study program where you take several weeks in the summer to “get up to the standards” of the University Park campus. And also the 2+2 plan, where if I don’t get into the University Park campus from the first year, I can start at Altoona and after 2 years I can transfer to University Park.

Not interested in Fordham really and DC and Delaware schools. In Maryland, I would have loved to go to John’s Hopkins or UMD College Park, but I’m pretty sure I don’t have the grades for that. Syracuse is still a possibility.

Thanks Again.
