I was waitlisted at Colgate. Really shocked, I was absolutely sure I would be rejected.

Congrats, but I still like Rutgers better.
I’m still treating Colgate like a firm no for my own sanity but for pre med Colgate is miles better than Rutgers.
You are smart to do so.
Two years ago of 8500 applicants - they WL’d 1630 of which 1100 accepted and 97 were admitted.
Still - it’s a win - but fall in love with another school. Accept your spot but write them off in your mind.

Thank you so much everyone. I wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you! I’m so excited to go to Brandeis, it’s been in my mind since freshman year. I will post again to update about BU and GWU but I will be committing to Deis.
