I know essays can make a really big difference in whether getting or not, but assuming i had a decent essay, will my numbers and EC's suffice to get into NYU CAS? Thanks

Your stats are decent for an NYU applicant, and you have good ECs. You’re not a shoe-in, but with a great essay you’ve got a great shot! If I had to give any advice, I would try to get that GPA up, and if you can, improve your SAT score. Also, good recommendations are pretty important. Overall though, I don’t think you have much to worry about. Apply and hope for the best! Good luck!

Also, if you have the chance, chance back?

Hi, I got into NYU CAS last year. GPA might be a little low…but my SATs were not stellar at all by any means. Yours is much higher. Hopefully this helps :)

NYU is within your reach. You’ll be fine. I know many people who have gotten into NYU with SAT scores ranging from 1800-2000. If you apply ED, you’ll definitely get in. Good luck!!! :)

Getting that SAT up would be a huge boost to your application. It would be an opportune time to work on it this summer. I’m sure you can do better!
