<p>NYU is my dream school. Do I have a shot? How much of one? Please be honest.<br>
Incoming senior at a Catholic girls school in Northern California. I am hispanic and native American, Buddhist, and LGBT. I also suffered from an eating disorder for two years ish, and underwent treatment, so I have a story that serves as an explanation for lack of rigor. </p>

SAT: 2070 (620M, 650CR, 800W) Only taken once </p>

Volunteer and teacher at a low income preschool teaching kids English
Taught illiterate adults to read
Volunteer at local library
Link Crew leader (freshman integration program) </p>

<p>I want to major in something global communications-esque with hopefully a double minor in physics and music.</p>

<p>You have a great chance. Being native American/Hispanic is definitely not gonna hurt either.</p>

<p>Apply as native American, right about your eating disorder for the common app, and I think you become golden not guaranteed but I would say at least a 63.36% chance</p>
