I’m currently a junior (from California) so I have a small window to bump up my test scores + GPA. Would it help to apply EA? I know its a bit early to get chanced, but I want to get an idea a little bit ahead of time.
You have a good shot and seem to be on the right track, but for the College of Arts and Science at NYU, it would help if you bumped your ACT to a 30 (or above!) and got your GPA up as much as you can (3.6+ Unweighted will put you in a safer zone)
Your SAT is pretty good as well, but it doesn’t hurt to retake it just in case you do better the next time.
NYU does not have an EA option, but has ED.
Since you’re a junior, you have lots of time to study and retake the SAT/ACT, and visit campus if you can.
Don’t worry too much and try to focus on keeping your grades up and studying for your ACT/SAT!
