Chance me for NYU!

I am currently a junior and my dream school is NYU. I plan to ED to NYU next year since it is top choice, but was wondering on my chances of getting into the school with my stats I have now and some predicted stats (some AP scores are predicted)

(Attending an extremely competitive high school in the bay area, top 20 in California)

GPA:
3.2 UW, 3.7 W (upward trend, expecting to end junior year with a 3.7 UW and 4.5 W)

ACT:
Took twice, C33 W10 (first time), C33 W11 (second time), superscore: C34

AP Scores:
Biology - 4
Statistics - 5
Language & Composition - 4
Psychology - 5
Macroeconomics - 5
Microeconomics - 5
Calc BC - 5

ECs:
Science Olympiad Team (junior year)
DECA NorCal and state competition (junior year)
Speech & Debate Team Captain (junior year)
Kaiser Permanente NorCal Volunteer (2017-2018)
6 missions trips (little over 300 hours): 3 in Fresno(2016, 2017, 2018) , 2 in Japan (2016, 2017), 1 in Navajo (2015)

(Hopefully get some internship at a silicon valley company over the summer to add to EC list)

GPA is far below average. ACT is a little above average, but it won’t be enough to overcome the GPA.

With NYU, the #1 question is: how much can your parents afford to pay from income and savings?
Also, why NYU?

Tuition is not a problem. NYU is my top choice because I have always loved the NY area since I was young and NYU has an amazing business program for undergraduates.

Being a college student in NYC is not as fun as being an adult with money there, and NYU doesn’t have a czmpus to speak of. That makes for an unusual experience. However some students love being right in the city and have enough money that the cost doesn’t matter to them.

If you’re applying to Stern then your GPA will hurt you. The 5 in calc BC will help but unless your school has a good relationship with NYU (and Naviance should tell you) I’m afraid you need to look into Fordham Lincoln center (if you want to be right in the middle of the city).
