Hello, I live in Atlanta and have seen many people apply for the exact schools you are, so I’ll help you out!

I’ll start by saying that you will get into Georgia State. I have never known anyone who got rejected from Georgia State. But it’s a great school, so don’t feel bad if you have to go there.

Emory and Tech are a little trickier. In my experience, Tech is harder to get into- a guy I knew got waitlisted at Tech and accepted into Emory, and I’ve seen Tech get regarded as higher status. I know both schools take in a lot of foreign students. Your GPA is good enough for both, and your SAT II scores are pretty good, but if at all possible I would recommend retaking the normal SAT, or even better, the ACT (I’ve seen most people score higher). I think Emory likes more well rounded scores, while Techs main focus is the math.

What is your major going to be, by the way?

Hi, Thank you so much for your reply  It was very informative
I want to do biology major.

My advice: retake the SAT/ACT…

Emory: Aim for 31+/2100+
GA Tech: Aim for 31+/2100+
GA State: Safety
