Chance me for Out of State??

Hi everyone!! Please Chance me!! I plan on majoring in political science!! University of Washington is definitely my number 1 school but since I’m an out of state applicant, I know it’s going to be harder for me. Any input would be awesome!!

-Minority ( African American)
-GPA: 4.12 and have taken 7 APS & 8 Honor Classes by the end of senior year
-SAT: 1230 ( I know very low)
-In over 10 clubs (key club, mock trial, etc)
-I’m in 4 National Honor Societies
-Varsity Swim for 4 years
-Vice president of English National Honor Society for 2 years
-Treasurer of Key Club
-President of UNICEF
-I have a job and work throughout the school year
-Camp Counselor for every summer for the past 4 year
-Internship for 3 years at a non-profit
-Leadership Conference for 2 years
-Featured on NBC with my sister for being a student athlete
-Writing Tutor

I know my SAT is low, but I was hoping my GPA and extra curricularsr would balance it!!

I’d say your academics are actually pretty good, but I’m wondering since you’ve held a job throughout high school if you come from a family that can afford to pay out of state tuition?

@AroundHere my family can almost pay for all of it, but I’m still applying for a bunch of private scholarships! Do you think I’ll have a chance of getting in?

Yes, you’re in an acceptable range. I don’t know how to assign percentage odds or anything though.
