Hi if you can http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1515027-chance-me-ill-chance-you-back.html that would be amazing!!

Your GPA isn’t bad… it is not “stellar”, but it won’t throw you out. Same situation as you for class rank so can’t say about that. Your other scores are good so don’t worry so much about those :P

Your ECs are really impressive and consistent w/ education. If you can compellingly explain how meaningful all your ECs are then it’s great.

Penn - high reach (because ED there is tough)
UCLA - low reach
Georgetown - low reach
USC - match
Cornell - mid reach

-5% chance for each of them because you’re asian male like me :D

are you trying other Ivies by any chance?

Your ECs are incredible, and the huge amount of overlap with what you want to pursue in the future is awesome. Your GPA might unfortunately hold you back a little bit, but your test scores are good and at least you had a rigorous course load. I’m not familiar with USC or UCLA, but I would give you great odds at Georgetown and call Cornell a low reach. Penn is tough for anyone, but given your ECs I would think you have at least a shot. Good luck.

Please chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1514722-upenn-jerome-fisher-m-t-early-chances.html

math64: Yeah, I’m probably applying to Brown, but that’s it. But, how exactly is Penn ED tougher than RD? I’m probably just trying to give myself more of a chance, but wouldn’t Cornell reg be harder than Penn ED?

I was just visiting Penn last week and the guy seemed to say that they really like ED-er’s commitment to the school… so maybe that’ll lower the reachiness of it for you. You seem like an all around solid candidate to any of those schools, anyways

You call that bad??? I dont think so. But I still think some of the schools are reaches even though you are above their statistics. I’d say Penn and Cornell are reaches, because those are two schools that emphasize grades as oppose to test scores while the others are high matches. I would say you have a little better than a 50-50 chance of getting into the others. If you have the chance, chance me back under UPENN??? thread. Thanks and good luck
