Chance me for Penn dual-degree program?

Hi, I'm applying to Penn either way but I just want to get an idea of my chances in the vagelos life sciences and management program. If I don't apply to the dual-degree program I will most likely apply to CAS.

Stats:
GPA: 4.77/5 weighted
rank: at least top 10% (my school doesnt do official ranking) out of 342
SAT: 2400 on the third try, I increased about 200 points each time
SAT 2: 780 Math 2; 760 US History; 740 Chemistry
AP: 5 APUSH; 5 lang/comp; 4 chemistry; 3 physics C mech (oops...)

Extra curriculars:
Science Olympiad- officer, medals up to national level
varsity tennis
oil painting- my work has been in art shows and sold to people
violin
and lots and lots of volunteering at the local hospital

Awards/Honors:
national merit
national honor society
science olympiad medals

Other stuff:
I'm a first generation asian girl and my parents work at Penn. I go to a school where generally about 40-50 students apply and about 10-15 get accepted. So what are my chances? Should I reach for the dual-degree program? Thanks so much for your reponses! I'll chance back if I can.

Hmm…given the lack of research Vagelos may be a bit tough. Are you planning on applying ED?

You certainly are qualified for admission, and your faculty/staff connection probably will help you get in. I don’t think it will help with any special programs. Those are exceptionally competitive with applicants that have remarkable achievements. You won’t lose anything by applying, because you also can choose a second option if you don’t get into Vagelos.
