Hi, I'm new. (: Sorry if I get stuff wrong. -- Chance me for Penn State UP?

This is my 'reach' school.

I am currently a Junior.
I am out of state.
I am applying for the summer session.
Legacy. (Dad went there and heavily donates, if that helps.)
Hispanic

My school is sending separate transcripts for my grades at public and private schools.

Freshman year @ public school:
GPA: 3.0
I took all the highest classes offered (called TA classes).

Soph/Junior year @ private school:
My school does not weight anything. However, most classes are considered 'Honors' even though they are taught the same material as AP level classes at a public school.
I predict my GPA will be a 3.3
If I were to weight the 'Honors', my GPA would be a 3.9.
I have no idea how PSU is going to look at my GPA though. That's the scary part...

I know my GPAs in Freshman and Soph year are bad. My mom was hospitalized multiple times, arrested, and in jail during those years. That was reflected in my grades those years. I don't know if Penn State UP will take that into consideration though.

SAT: 1700 (I hope to raise that on my next test)
