<p>I'll try to keep this short and sweet. </p>

<p>I'm currently in 10th grade and I'll be applying for Upper the next year.
I'm a girl attending a relatively new high school (4 years old) in the New England area.
I'm also of Asian heritage.</p>

Badminton Club (I LOVE it :)
Photography Club (minor award in a fair)
Newspaper Photographer
Robotics Club
Stage Crew
No school sports (I'm trying out for Tennis in the spring though)</p>

<p>I speak fluent Mandarin, and I have been taking TaeKwonDo for 7 years. Have a few medals from competitions. I'm currently a blackbelt testing for my second dan.(It's a big deal). I've also attended sunday chinese school for 10 years.</p>

<p>Everything else should be fine...(recommendations, essays, interview)</p>

<p>I'm worried about my SAT scores. their not very high (1800). I'm comfortable with my math, but reading and writing are low for me. I also haven't won many major awards academically. Any suggestions for increasing my chances?</p>

However if you have any other prep school suggestions, they will always be appreciated. :D</p>

you got some nice stats but you need stuff that makes you look special.
