sramesh93,

Just to note, Pitzer does not have a minor in Political Science available, only a major, so you should be careful putting that on your application as it might look like you haven’t throughly researched the academic program.

Otherwise, you look like a pretty good candidate for admission. Because of your unweighted GPA being over a 3.5, you do not have to submit your ACT score, so that’s an option for you.

Are you taking any honors or AP classes this senior year?

Also, make sure you take great care with the Pitzer supplemental essay.

Your ECs look good. Overall, I think you have a good shot. However, Pitzer’s admission pool is getting larger and more competitive every year, so at this point it partly seems like a shot in the dark.

Id try claremont mckenna, I don’t think pitzer is right for you.
You have the grades and extra curricular for cmc definitely and it sounds like it would be a better fit based on your grades and activities.
My dad is an admissions officer for cmc and he made it sound like you would have a higher chance getting in there.
Trust me.

Musicmastr - your response to this post and the previous one is odd. You make it sound like Pitzer systematically denies students who are doing well, and I do not buy that. Also, your bias is pretty obvious. You should probably not be talking for CMCs admission, either. I sure neither Pitzer, nor CMC would approve.
