Your grades and testing are definitely competitive for all those schools you mentioned. You have good shots in my opinion at all of them minus Stanford. For Stanford, it is always a crap-shoot considering how little they accept. Although others might point out your ECs, I personally think they are satisfactory but not particularly eye-catching while will definitely factor in.

UC’s are full fee to OOS. If you’re willing to pay, then you probably stand a chance. Stanford, no. They seem to want something big and international.

You listed a number of contests and tourneys in which you (won or placed) as a Senior, but isn’t that next year for you?

thanks for the feedback! @rhuran and yeah I know I’m not the best applicant for Stanford haha but I’m willing to try! @“aunt bea” (I am not able to tag you for some reason?)

Yes! I realized that I forgot to add in that all my senior grades and stats are projected/anticipated, until the editing time was over. I know its likely that I may not achieve what I hoped for, but I want to find out how my chances are, if I do reach my goals  @JustOneDad

Anticipated awards and grades are not a good idea to list if you haven’t achieved them. Work with what you have and be honest. This does not bode well for your applications as you are reaching.

oh i didn’t mean to intentionally mislead anyone. I forgot to add “Projected” for my senior stats until it was too late to edit. as I said above, the reason why I listed my projected winnings is so that I could have a goal to work towards! @“aunt bea”

I think you’ll get into a fantastic school. Maybe Stanford. Maybe Pomona. Maybe both! It’s honestly just luck at any of the top 20 schools. Write stellar essays, and hope for the best!

Your numbers seem competitive for both Stanford and Pomona, but I’m not getting any sense of who you are and that usually ends up costing applicants.

Keep in mind that “competitive” means you get to the 1 in 5 level, which sorta explains why there has to be something to recommend you beyond that.

Okay thank you for the feedback! I just wanted to make sure that my stats weren’t below the colleges’ standards, but on my application, I will definitely show what I’m passionate about @JustOneDad

thank you! @ezraspineapple
