<p>You are good for finalist as long as you have great essays and recommendations(which most of us)
but you won’t cut for match because only kids with EFC zero get matched.
BUT! You can RD to whatever schools you want, and pretty sure you will get accepted with good fin aid.</p>
<p>paul2752, OP will undoubtedly have O EFC with income at or below 24K for a family of six. OP, EFC = estimated family contribution. It’s the amount that colleges calculate your family can afford to contribute to your tuition. Yours will be 0 at most if not all QB schools. You can run the NPC (Net Price Calculator) on each college’s website to check.</p>
<p>It will only be important if you have substantial equity in the house. If you do then CSS profile schools will list you as have a EFC based on using part of that equity.</p>
