You definitely have a chance. I think it’s going to come down to your essays and how creative you got with them. No offense, but although you ARE an impressive applicant and definitely academically qualified to handle the academics at Penn, nothing really stands out to me. Make your essays interesting to show Penn you are more than just an academic…just basing off of my friends here at Penn and people in general, most of Penn students are extremely social.

Also, Asians are ORM, not URM’s. Definitely considered overrepresented.

^i thought the same thing about essays. Plus, it’s always hard to see just looking at stats so I may have missed it, but I didn’t see a passion. That one or two or three things that you’ve always had an interest in over a number of years. For example, u say u “played” clarinet at a nursing home. It sounds something u could’ve been forced to do but not something that is a passion for u that u do all the time and is excellent at it. Make sure your essays show your personal passion.

Thanks for the advice oceane and Madaboutx! So how can I show more passion, both through stats and essays? I have to admit I think it’s hard to show lots of passion just through raw scores and brief listing of activities and awards.
