Chance me for Rice please? :]

I've submitted everything to Rice University, and to help me deal with the anticipation I was just wondering what you thought my chances might be as a transfer student. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and respond!

I am a middle class, white boy who has lived in Texas my entire life.

-58 hours completed at community college (73 hours when semester ends)
-4.0 GPA at community college (including calculus sequence)
-ACT 29 [28 English, 28 reading, 30 mathematics, 28 science]
-Phi Theta Kappa
-Sigma Kappa Delta (National English Honor Society for two-year colleges)
-Outstanding Engineering Student (1 student chosen per department, per year at my cc)
-Best Public Speaker (1 student chosen by classmate vote, per semester at cc)

-High School rank was 7th out of ~100 students.
-High School GPA was ~3.8
-Editor of Yearbook in high school (received ~40 awards for photos, graphic design, etc.)
-University Interscholastic League Regional Qualifier in 4 separate writing events.
-AP calculus 4, English 3 (school only offered ~3 AP tests)

Community Service and Volunteering is weak or non-existence.

Lots of work experience as both a mathematics tutor for a lab and an appliance salesman.

One instructor evaluation is outstanding, but I have no clue what the other one says.

My common app essay and short answer questions were informative but not creative. My "Why Rice" and "Rice Supplement" essays are solid.

Most importantly, my "Rice Box" on the signature page was totally legitimate. Unfortunately the deadline hasn't passed so I can't tell you about it ;)

There are some other smaller awards, hobbies, honors, etc. but this gives you a basic idea.

I have a friend already got in Rice for 2010 Fall, his college GPA is 3.8 (apply as a soph), and SAT is 1900, and he sent his application very early.

You definitely have a good chance to get in.

I’m glad to hear that. I know admission is competitive there, but I’m praying I can make it in. I hope my hard work has payed off :)
