Chance me for Richmond's Scholar

Hi,

I am International Student.

Financial Aid = 100%

SAT Score - 2150 ( CR 730, M 700, CR 720 )

Common Application and Supplement -

I was accepted without financial aid last year, I have reapplied this year!

Overall I’d say you’re good! Especially since you’ve already been admitted.
Couple notes:

-typo in the second activity: “taught a adults…”

-Essay is long… how many words is that?

-I’d avoid using the parenthesis if possible, and I wouldn’t say that you “never found school to be at all difficult”… that makes it sound like you were never challenged.

I do understand its long but I wanted to express myself. Isn’t it quite expressive and descriptive though?

****! I proofread the application yet made a typo. Damn. :(

You can be descriptive without writing for almost 3 pages.

Also, it sounds like you’re trying to throw in SAT words as much as possible. I think it seems unnatural at some points.

Ah bad luck for me… I can’t change anything now. I have already submitted my Application. :(

December 1st was the deadline for the Richmond’s scholar.

Ah ok. Well I’m just over critical because I think you have potential! Good luck to you!

@f4ngz77 - Thanks for the wishes! Constructive criticism is always beneficial. I just hope the length of the essay doesn’t adversely affect my application. :)

Hi,

I have been accepted as a semifinalist for Richmond scholar so does that mean I’ll get accepted to UR even if I don’t qualify for the next round.
