How can I improve to make my chances better?

The Robertson is one of, if not the most competitive scholarship program anywhere in the country. Saying “chance me for the Robertson” is like saying “chance me for a Rhodes Scholarship.” This isn’t like regular college admissions. Asking the question is a bit absurd, so I wouldn’t expect your answers to be anything less.
That being said, the Robertson program is based on the idea of leadership development, and their mantra, if you will, is “heard-mind-action.” You’ve got the mind; most Robertson scholar applicants are superb, and that’s not what their making their decisions based upon.
I have no idea how you can improve - that has to take the form of action that comes from your heart.

I agree. The Robertson scholarship is one of the most competitive scholarships in the country. You cannot really be chanced for it, if that makes sense. Try applying to Duke ITSELF and if you get into duke, congrats! :). If you are lucky and EXTREMELY talented (extremely, extremelyyyy) and get the Robertson, congrats even more. But I guess my advice would be apply to duke first and see where the cards fall… Getting into duke itself is not easy (I’m not trying to sound arrogant here… Sorry if it comes across that way). Getting the Robertson is a whole different ball game.

Then how about Chance me for Duke?

Like everyone said, the Robertson Scholarship is based on character and stuff, not academics.

It’s tough being Chinese (I would know). Sorry to say, but the ECs look a little bland; typical Asian stuff. Try to improve your writing and get your SAT score to 2300 if you can, and nail your essays and recs.
