Hey guys. So before I tell you the details, I just want to add that the reason my GPA is so low is that I went to a double curriculum Jewish school and I did not know any Hebrew so for the first few years I failed basically most of my second curriculum classes because they were based off of it. This will be in my application in the essay and anywhere else I could put it possibly. Also want to add that my grades have gone up each year, and now in senior year I have a 90+ in basically all of my classes. So with that in mind, please chance me for Rutgers NB.

GPA- 2.7
Have been in at least one honors class each year. Am in Two APs this year. AP English and AP Microeconomics

SATs- 1240/1600 1890/2400
Critical Reading- 660
Math- 580
Writing- 650
(I am going to be taking it again in October.)

Also I have a strong essay that shows I'm a hard worker and also explains the horrible GPA in a well written way.

EC's-
Varsity Wrestling for 4 Years
Captain of the Wrestling team for 2 years
Student Government for One year, the Treasurer of the school
Started the Fitness Club

Thanks guys. If anyone has any tips to help me get in, please let me know.

You’re not exactly a high match. I don’t think these people are familiar with Rutgers. Rutgers NB(and some programs in Newark/Camden) are pretty competitive. As years go on, Rutgers gets more and more competitive. If you explained it well, you have a chance, however I’m not sure it’s a match. A possibility, sure. Just apply to SAS, as other schools are out of reach. Good luck!

Oh alright. Well as long as I have a chance then I’m glad. As for just applying to SAS, the application allows to apply to up to 3 schools, and then also gives you a box to check that says that if they reject you to all the other schools, they could still accept you to one you didn’t choose. So I checked that box too. Is that alright?

Yah I put SAS, SEBS, and Business. I’m not hundred percent sure on a major yet, but I’m thinking somewhere along the lines of Business Management, or marketing if I somehow get into the business school. Otherwise im thinking something like criminal justice, Philosophy, or maybe Psychology. I plan on going to law school after college so I don’t need a specific major.
