Counselor Rec:She wrote one for Emory and it was amazing, she promised the same this time.
Prof. Rec: Going to ask my French prof. I am confident it will be very good.

Languages: Georgian (native)
Russian (fluent) - distinct from Georgian, has a different alphabet
French (upper intermediate)

Employment:
* Consulate General of France, Partner university fund - International campus program coordinator
* Human Rights House Foundation, Oslo, Norway Office – Assistant, Caucasus & E. Europe network.

I have others but they give space for only two.

EC's:
*Volleyball - Team Captain (08-09) - involved 2004-2009
*Cincinnati Art Museum - Youth Advisory Board - Chairman 08-09 - involved 2006-2009
*Mines Advisory Group Ethiopia Simien Mountain Challenge – Fundraiser 2007, 2008, 2009 - went to Ethiopia with raised money to help the organization get rid of landmines. Only several $K but I guess its worth it.
*Debate Team - Captain 07-09 - involved 2006-2009

I have others but they give space for only these.

Essays:
Personal is a general autobiographical overview of my life in Republic of Georgia until 2006, and then the emigration to the US. I also explain that because of my fathers illness and lung surgery I could not leave him alone (My mothers dead and i'm the only family member) I did not apply to any Univ. too far from Atlanta that time (could not go to Georgetown for this reason)

SFS essay: I discuss my interest in frozen conflict resolution and post-conflict rehabilitation in the Caucasus and the Black sea region. I talk about this interest evolving in me as a result of several conflict regions I grew up close to and the NGO's I worked with.

Any ideas? I'm really nervous.

I would think you have a very strong chance…you have an especially unique story & your essays sound very intriguing as well. Also, that ACT score can supplement your SAT so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

^yeah, the ACT I took half a year after the SAT. Its still looks pretty ugly I must admit.

anybody else, please…?
