Chance me for these schools:
Berkeley
UCLA
Stanford
Harvard
Cornell
Brown

Thanks!

alright. well academics are definitely your strong suit. did I count 15 APs by the time you graduate? wow! thats a big plus. top 1% of class, etc. very nicely done

test scores are definitely competitive. nothing to scoff at there either.

my main concern with your resume is ECs. Being a leader in the band is certainly a plus, but I think most of the other ones aren’t that important, and here’s why- I think selective schools are really looking for leadership positions, not just that you’re in a bunch of clubs. But thats my opinion. If I had to say, I would say Stanford and Harvard are reaches but definitely still attainable. the other ones, yes, you’re as good as in.

and now, if you dont mind…http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/819719-chance-me-stanford.html

In CA? My results assume so. My results also include a slight URM status +.(Except UC’s of course)
Berkeley-Match(unpredictable, remember)
UCLA-Match
Stanford-a Likely Match
Harvard-you have a shot.
Cornell-Match
Brown-good chance

Chance me! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/819131-chances-ucs-cal-schools.html

in at 5/6 of the schools you listed. At worst, you’ll get into 3/6 (you’d really have to screw up to get here). I could also see you at 6/6.

Basically you got good chances everywhere. It is likely you will get into at least one of these schools. Btw, how do you take 8 APs this year? Doing IB or taking outside of school?

^Self study.

UCLA, Cal, Cornell, and Brown are likely matches. Good GPA and the ethnicity helps.

Berkeley-In
UCLA-In
Stanford-High Match
Harvard-reach
Cornell-low match
Brown-match

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/803462-my-chances-brown.html

actually, our school runs on a block schedule so i have up to 8 block classes per year. That means that i can fit up to 8 APs in my schedule. Our school does not have IB

Definitely have a great shot at all with Stanford being like a mid-low reach.
