Hi everyone!

Something that worries me about applying to Stern is that I haven't shown a lot of interest in business with regards to my extracurriculars. I'm not in FBLA, haven't interned at an investment firm, etc. Plus the only AP test I've failed (2) was in Macro (the teacher we had did not know what she was doing and had never taught, or gotten a degree in economics. Basically she gave up 3 weeks into the school year)

Essays/ Recommendations:
o Im deciding between several possible topics. Ill try to take risks and not pull a How my dad influences me. My essays for school generally turn out well, but well see. Hopefully good
o My Spanish teacher already volunteered to write my recommendation so I think it should be solid. Im going to ask my science teacher to write the other one. He loves me but can be a bit scatter-brained (he has written for a lot of ivy admits though)
o I go to a large public high school so our guidance counselors arent exactly sung for their detailed, personal recommendations. She likes me, but Im not expecting anything stunning.
