Chance me for Stern, Wharton, other top business schools

bump

bump

guys, found out my gpa is actually going to be a 3.6, but atleast my act score is a 34. So how much are much chances being reduced by?

Stern is happening for you, Wharton maybe not

Thanks, Yeah, wharton’s probably going to be out of the picture. I’m just going to try to transfer there. Crossing my fingers. But stern seems unlikely too now. Maybe the ed will help, but my gpa terrifies me a 3.6 is below their average by quite a bit.

Hey man good luck with Stern, I am applying to both this year too and have somewhat similar creds. Might need to chant some mantras for Wharton, but I’ve seen the rare case get accepted even with a 3.6 when the rest of the app is superb. My post if you are interested:

I think you have a good chance! good luck

thanks appreciate it man

Thanks for chancing me!

I would say that Wharton is a high reach only because it is like HYPS difficulty on steroids. Good luck though!

Stern is more like a low reach/high match just because it is perhaps the hardest to get into in NYU, but you applying early makes your chances a lot better.

They look for things beyond grades and scores, though. Be sure to show personality in interviews and essays, if you don’t get accepted to Stern ED, and dont lose hope! My ORM friend who didn’t do anything to distinguish himself through ECs got into Stanford, Princeton, Caltech, and Cornell with a 33 ACT, 2150 SAT. That means he had extravagant essays! Anything is possible!!! :D

Note Just a question, though. How come you posted that you got a 35 ACT in your previous post, but you claim to not have taken the ACT yet? Or am I just seeing things?

This post was nearly 2 months ago @IAmTheGOAT‌. Lmao, I predicted a 34 and got a 35, so I’m happy.
