<p>I applied in late October. My stats aren't great but it was worth a try, going to UT would be awesome. </p>

<p>Unweighted GPA/Weighted GPA: 3.75/4.50
Class Rank: Top 15%
SAT: 1650 (here's where I really screwed up)</p>

<p>I have a decent amount of extracurriculars, some volunteer work and job experience. I'm confident in my essays, they were really good. I'm in-state, by the way. </p>

<p>Do I have any hope? My first choice was a biology major, my second choice was undeclared (for the College of Natural Sciences). Thanks for any input!</p>

<p>Its going to be difficult just bc of that SAT, gpa/rank should be fine. chance me for natural sci. or engineering.</p>

rank: top 39% (had some family emergencies which are explained in my rec letters)
sat: 2090 (730 M, 720 R, 640 W)
sat subject: 790 math level 2
plenty of great ec’s including aerospace engineering internship working w/ prof. from ut austin</p>
